Vapur (ferry) et tour de Léandre à Üsküdar. Selon la mythologie grecque, Héros, enfermée dans cette tour, éclairait d'une lanterne la voie de son bien-aimé Léandre qui venait la rejoindre à la nage pendant la nuit. Une nuit, la tempête éteignit la lanterne et Léandre se noya. Depuis, cette tour s'appelle "tour de Léandre" ou "tour de la fille" (kiz kulesi en turc).
Vapur (ferry) and Leander's ride to Üsküdar. According to Greek mythology, Hero, shut up in this tower, illuminated with a lantern the way of his beloved Leander who came to swim to her during the night. One night, the storm extinguished the lantern and Leander drowned. Since, this tower is called "turn of Leander" or "tower of the girl" (kiz kulesi in Turkish).
